Download Odysee Videos on Android
Step by step, plus the Odysee details that matter.
The Short Answer
To download an Odysee video on Android, copy the video's odysee.com link, paste it into VidBlaze (or share it to VidBlaze) and choose a quality. The video is saved to Download/VidBlaze on your phone. Free public videos work; paid and members-only videos don't.
How to Download Odysee Videos
- Install VidBlaze. Download the VidBlaze APK from vidblaze.app and install it. Our APK install guide walks you through it the first time.
- Copy or share the Odysee link. Tap Share on the video and copy the link, or copy the odysee.com address from your browser. Links include the channel and video name with a colon and code — paste the whole link.
- Open the link in VidBlaze. If you shared the video to VidBlaze, it opens with the link ready. Otherwise open VidBlaze, tap Paste and then Download.
- Pick a quality. Wait a moment for the quality list to load, then choose one. Larger sizes look sharper but take more storage and data.
- Let it download. The download keeps going in the background, even with the screen off, and you can pause and resume it. The finished video is saved to the Download/VidBlaze folder.
Odysee links look like odysee.com/@channel:…/video-name:…
Good to Know About Odysee
Odysee and LBRY
Odysee is built on LBRY, and its video links look different from most sites (odysee.com/@channel:x/video:y). Paste the complete link, including the parts after the colons.
Free videos only
Videos that need a purchase, a membership or a login can't be downloaded. VidBlaze downloads videos anyone can watch for free.
Audio only
Many Odysee uploads are talks and podcasts. If an audio-only version is available, it shows in the quality list so you can save just the sound.
Download Responsibly
Only download videos you have the right to save — your own uploads, content with a licence that allows it, or videos the creator lets you keep. VidBlaze doesn't download private, paid or protected content. See our Terms of Use and Copyright & DMCA Policy.
